Manual Handling Training Courses - Handling of people - BOURNEMOUTH

One Third of all injuries reported in the work place last year were due to incorrect manual handling and millions are lost every year though absence with injuries to discs, muscles, ligaments, etc.

Manual Handling injuries can have a significant impact on both you and your company.
An injury can affect your lifestyle, your leisure activities, your ability to sleep and your job prospects. For the company, injuries can lead to wage costs, loss of reputation and civil liability costs.

A major contributing factor is lack of proper training, supervision, information and instruction.

This Course is ideal for anyone with responsibilities that include handling and moving elderly or infirm people. Not only will it help you understand how to do your job more safely but it will help you learn how to work more efficiently by studying the human body and ergonomics. You will also come to understand you’re legal obligations and rights.
